Ridgemount’s product portfolio is divided into four groups, connectors, cable & fibre, cable assemblies and equipment. Key products include its Venturi® range of connectors which are used to provide the final link to the subscriber in the FTTH network; and its F-BEAM® expanded beam connectors used in field deployable cable assemblies which are used in harsh environments such as military communications, oil rigs, and mining.
The company also develops products for use in sensing applications where light is used in the sensor to detect for example, heat, movement, and particles in different substances and environments.
