The Ridgemount F-Beam™ Mini 2 Connector is a small form factor fibre optic expanded beam connector offering the same robustness and protection characteristics of the F-Beam™ range. It can be used in harsh environment applications that include military communications, industrial data communications and outside video broadcasting.
The MIL-DTL-83526 hermaphroditic interface negates the need for in-line adaptors, or male and female mating halves. It allows the user to develop daisy- chain links that suit their applications, whether indoor or outdoor or a combination of both.
These F BEAM™ Mini 2 connections are easy to clean, resistant to environmental contamination and less susceptible to variations in temperature and humidity.
The connector is available in both singlemode and multimode versions. Its small form factor make it ideal for situations where space is at a premium especially with the receptacle version.
